OVERVIEW OF THE REAL ESTATE MARKET IN MARCH 2023
Home prices across Metro Vancouver's housing market showed modest increase in March, while new listings remained below long-term historical averages. March data also indicates home sales are making a stronger than expected spring showing so far.
Current average price across all residential properties in Metro Vancouver is currently $1,143,900, this represents 9.5% decrease from March 2022 and 1.8% increase compared to February 2023.
There were 4,137 newly listed residential properties on Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in Metro Vancouver. This data represents 35.5% decrease from March 2022, and 24.5% increase from February 2023.
There were 2,535 residential sales in March. Data shows its a 42.5% decrease compared to March 2022, and 40.2% increase from February 2023.
