The Relocation Process

Relocating involves several steps, from planning and packing to settling into your new home. Here's a breakdown of the process to help you navigate it with ease:

1. Planning Your Move: Start by researching the areas you're interested in. Consider factors such as proximity to work, schools, amenities, and lifestyle preferences. Engaging a BC relocation specialist can provide valuable insights and assistance during this phase.

2. Finding Your New Home- Once you've identified your preferred area, work with your realtor to explore available properties. They can arrange viewings, provide market analysis, and negotiate on your behalf.

3. Selling Your Current Home- If you need to sell your current home, your realtor can assist. Services like free staging can make your home more attractive to buyers, potentially speeding up the sale process.

4. Moving and Settling In- Plan your move well in advance to ensure a smooth transition. Consider hiring professional movers and make a checklist of tasks to complete before, during, and after the move. Once you've moved, take time to explore your new neighborhood and settle in.

Tips For A Seamless Relocation

  • Start Early: Give yourself time to plan and execute your move. Rushed decisions can lead to unnecessary stress.

  • Stay Organized: Keep track of important documents, schedules, and contacts. Use a moving checklist to stay on top of tasks.

  • Communicate Clearly: Keep an open line of communication with your realtor, movers, and any other service providers involved in your relocation.

  • Get to Know Your New Area: To ease the transition into your new home, familiarize yourself with local amenities, services, and community events.

Looking to buy a house in Vancouver- Long Distance?

Check out my Youtube Channel for useful info about Vancouver and the cities around it. We are NOT providing rental placement services, however we are partnered with multiple placement companies and will be happy to connect you with them or provide you with the right rental tools for your search. Connect with us today to start your journey, whether you are looking to rent or buy long distance.

Are you hoping to buy a home so you have a safe place to land and start your new journey? We specialize with long distance! It’s called Virtual House Hunting. Traditional house hunting works like this:

  • You start looking at homes online
  • You make a note of the ones that look nice and you go drive by them.
  • You might decide that you don’t like the area, or the houses are too close together, or it’s too close to the main road. So now you’ve wasted time and gas money.
  • Or you like it so you call the number on the For Sale sign.  The agent makes an appointment to show you the house but once you get inside you realize the rooms are tiny, or it’s very dark inside.  So again, you’ve wasted time and gas going to see a house that won’t meet your needs.

What if there were a better way to shop for homes?

Here’s how WE SHOP long distance:

  • You hire us (at ZERO COST) to help you find your next home.
  • We send you lists of homes that seem like good fits for your requirements. You tell us which ones you’re interested in seeing.
  • WE go to the house and CONNECT ON A ZOOM MEETING, we go through the entire house, inside and out.  We can be online together to answer your questions, or we can send you the link to the video when it’s ready to view on your free time.
  • You watch the video on your phone, or on your computer.
  • Then you let us know if the house is worth seeing in person.  If not, you only spent 5-10 minutes watching the video.  And if you do like it, only then do you need to get in the car and drive over to see it.

Imagine if you saw 10-15 videos of your favorite homes but only had to go see a few in person? How much time would that save you?  We will visit and provide comprehensive video sammaries and ongoing live consultation, to make sure you purchase your home long- distance with ease.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

What is my first step?

Simply fill out the information below to receive assistance with your move! Our team will connect with you for further consultation and with examples of areas and homes that fit your requirements.  Your privacy is always important. Your information will not be shared, sold or exchanged with anyone else.

How can this be free? What’s the catch?

When a seller decides to sell their home, they pay their real estate agent, who then pays the buyer’s agent’s fee.  So we are compensated at the closing table by the seller’s agent when our clients buy Vancouver BC real estate.  We have to go see these homes anyway, either alone or with the client.  The extra step of filming the house and uploading the video is worth saving our clients time.

Are there any requirements for the buyers?

Yes, a few. In order for us to assist you we will have you hire us by signing an exclusive right to represent you.  You cannot work with another Realtor to look at houses.  You must be willing to get pre-approved for a mortgage (or provide proof of funds if paying cash for a house.)  That’s it!

So whether you’re looking to buy a home in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Langley, Surrey, Ladner, Tsewassen or any other area in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley or Kelowna BC, let us make your life easier!
