Many upsizing families are constantly reaching out to me to help them find their dream home. and of course 90% of the time, it has to be a detached house, with a yard, and office, at good location proximity for commuting to work and good schools, and a long list of further wishes. By the end of this video, you are going to know the reality of what kind of detached properties area selling in Coquitlam for 2020.
River Springs, is one of the best neighborhoods for families, although homes were built in the 80' they had decent size rooms and pretty good layouts. The streets are narrow, it is a wonderful and safe place for kids to play. The structure is 2 floors with 3 bedrooms up, most have carports but some have enclosed them over the years. Some transformed these into additional living spaces and many enjoy it as a rec room. You are in nature, close to Coquitlam River, Coquitlam Trail, and Port Coquitlam Trail.
Another good Neighborhood with homes under 1ml is New Horizen, Coquitlam. It is located just on the other side of the Coquitlam River, close to Lafarge Lake, Coquitlam Town Centre, and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Skytrain stations. These homes also two floors only, and similar in size to River Springs. Although these homes are not so large, they do not have strata. Most have proper garages and additional driveway as well as street parking.
There are homes under a million around other neighborhoods too, but they are quite rare. It is most likely that they are very small and original condition.
